VU-1 Active Volume Ultrasonic Sensor

Designed for display cases in jewelry stores, museums, and art galleries, as well as high-security safes, armories, and similar facilities.
The sensor is designed to detect intrusion (attempt of intrusion) into a protected volume (showcase) or/and to detect motion within the protected volume, and to indicate intrusion by generating an alarm signal via a NC relay contact.

For optimal performance, the protected showcase or enclosure shall meet the following conditions::

• The showcase structure shall be rigid enough to minimize vibration and displacement during normal use.

• No loose suspended objects shall be present within the monitored volume to avoid false triggering.

• No air convection between the protected showcase and the surrounding environment shall be caused by heat sources or light sources.
